| Waukegan BMX / Northern Illinois BMX serves all of Northern Illinois and is located at 2785 Yorkhouse Road in Waukegan IL 60087. We are a non-profit corporation dedicated to the growth of the BMX sport. With the money that we raise through donations and fund raising, we will be able to advertise and make improvements to the BMX track. Our goal is to have a track that is competitive on a National level and to provide incentives for the best BMX racers in the country to visit our track. This would gain us valuable attention in the BMX community and gain attention from the local media. Waukegan / Northern Illinois BMX is a National Bicycle League sanctioned track. In addition to our weekly races, will be hosting a NBL Illinois State Qualifier Race on September 20th and the Illinois State Championship Race on September 21st. These races will bring racers and their families to our area from all over Illinois. Did you know that BMX is now an Olympic sport? BMX will make it's first appearance in the Olympics in Beijing China this year. |
